Join us as we illustrate the future of technology! A new way to see and experience the world! Technology that will shake the foundation of what was thought to be possible! Bringing us a future of endless possibilities. The Lumière family has something new to show us, something so spectacularly grand and enticing that your world will never be the same! Come see a new world with us, and witness something so advanced it will seem like you have entered a world of magical wonders!

Now I know you may be skeptical. How would the Lumière family be able to create something so advanced that it could change the future of technology? Well, let me remind you how intelligent the Lumière's are. The Lumière brothers, Auguste and Louis, dabbled in fields like sound, mechanics, and medicine. Inventing glasses to help your vision, prosthetic hands, and the Autochrome plate. Having an affinity for science. They were able to improve greatly on past designs, the originals paling in comparison to their genius!

The Lumière brothers were so advanced they could create photos in an instant! No longer needed to wait six hours for a photograph when the Lumière brothers could create it in a single second! Look at the possibilities you create with such technology. Being able to catch them in a perfect picture in mid-air as they are jumping! Images that can capture the motion so perfectly, whether it be a person jumping or the water moving!
Of course, the Lumière family couldn't stop there! Their newest invention that may one day sweep the nation, is COLOR PHOTOGRAPHES! That's right folks! Now you can get your family photos in color. No longer having to look at the dull and boredom-inducing black-and-white photos. Thanks to the Lumière's, with a little extra money, you can liven up your beautiful family photos with the warm reds and elegant blues. The color is sure to make you the envy of the neighborhood, your house looking so much livelier and extravagant with the lush photographs that can eccentricate your home.

However, probably one of their most famous invention, the one that will revolutionize the world, is the Cinèmatographe. With the Cinèmatographe, photography will never be the same! It not only can take multiple instant photographs in a row but also can project them! Now you might say, "Oh, anyone can project an image. That isn't special!" However, that isn't exactly the case with this spectacular invention! This bewildering machine can show you something incredible, a moving image. So realistic it will look as if you are in the moment the film was taken. In about a one-minute movie, it will seem like the train is coming right toward you, or the factory workers are coming out of the projection! This is the magic of film that the Lumière family has perfected! So fantastic, you will be begging to see more! Luckily for you, there are more than 1,000 films to enjoy! An endless stream of entertainment, all you have to do is come see the magic in action.

  1. You bring up a good point with the use of advertising (especially apparent in the color photography section): The technology as an attraction is usually not widely accessible to the public for a while after it is produced. Color photography was very expensive and for the first camera itself was highly protected intellectual property. Movies kind of broke this trend as the upper class initially was interested but later viewed it as crude for a time.

  2. I also find the highlighting of the medical advancements great, as they made several. The largest in my mind by a wide margin was the petroleum jelly bandage (I am drawing a blank on the name at this exact second) which while not a single immediate lifesaving device, that type of dressing is a very useful thing in certain medical settings. Applying petroleum jelly to a clean wound can speed up healing by a great deal, and having a prepared sterile bandage already coated with the substance allows faster and easier treatment to seal moisture into a wound (like a burn, or in the cases I have usually had them applied to, abrasions.) I know that personally without this type of dressing I would have a lot more scars and have been incapable of causing trouble for many more of my childhood through teenage days.
